It took a few days of work with a lot of cleaning but eventually we made Dirty Little Secret, 4 pitches, 6a+. It's about 10 minutes walking from my house plus maybe twenty minutes walking uphill to the base from the trail.

Dirty Little Secret
So I was looking at this 500' line for two years wondering if it would go on the thin stretch of decent rock between the dirt:

The Itsy Bitsy Spider
Gregg Biesly, Robert Rauch and I went to Tortoral Pampa to try a new ice route. We climbed The Itsy Bitsy Spider (V, WI4, M4, 1000m) which lies pretty much dead center and tops out near 18,000':
A pleasantly uneventful 2.5 hour drive brought us to a place where we could leave the car at about 15,000':
We left La Paz after I dropped AnnaMaria at school. Illimani on the way there:
